Editorial Standards
This site earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through its links. That is disclosed in the footer of every page. It does not change what is published: footprint and specification figures are transcribed or computed, not written to flatter a listing.
Where the figures come from
Piece count, material, colour and BTU output are taken from each listing’s own title and specifications. Footprint by layout, for the sets that reconfigure, is collected by hand from each listing’s own images and Product Details, cross-checked against the Creators API’s catalogue data where it is available - and set aside where that data is more likely to describe a single module or a shipping package than the assembled set, which is common for multi-piece sectionals. Nothing here has been measured in person by this site’s publisher, and the site does not claim otherwise.
Why "N Pieces" is treated as a reference figure, not a measurement
A set’s own title piece count does not mean the same thing from one listing to the next: one listing’s own catalogue data can report an entirely different number for the same set - a packaging or component count rather than a seating count. Piece count is shown on every product page because it is what the manufacturer publishes, but it is never the basis for a footprint or area calculation on this site.
What is computed
The patio-fit checks on the sizing pages compare a set’s published footprint, by layout, against common patio sizes in either orientation. A layout whose footprint has not yet been measured is shown as not yet checkable, never as a size failure. Figures are never adjusted to reach a friendlier result.
What is deliberately not here
Prices. They change daily; a printed price is wrong within a week.
Ratings and review counts. They belong to the platform that collected them.
Installation, gas-connection or assembly instructions. The manufacturer’s own manual is the authority for a specific unit, particularly for the range’s propane fire tables, and a second set of instructions on a third-party site is a way for someone to get hurt.
Invented measurements. Footprint, material and BTU figures are transcribed from each listing’s own title, images and Product Details, never estimated or guessed from a similar-looking piece or from piece count. A dash on a sizing page means that figure is not yet available, not that it is zero.
