Will This Set Actually Fit Your Patio
A modular sectional does not have one footprint - it has one per layout. The same 10-piece set that fits an L-shaped corner easily can be too long for a square patio laid out in a straight line, even though the straight line uses less floor area. Area alone is not the answer; shape is. This page compares published footprint by layout for every modular set in the range, plus the two fixed-shape pieces that only ever have one shape.
Why area is not the check to use
A straight line arrangement of a large sectional can run to 25–30 feet end to end on a footprint barely 3 feet deep - a smaller total area than the same set folded into a U, but a shape almost no patio actually has. Whether a set fits your patio is a question about length and depth in a specific layout, not about square footage. The tables below publish both figures; the area column is reference only.

Fixed-shape seating
Two pieces in the range are sold as sectionals but are not modular: their own listings describe one couch plus an ottoman and a table, not separate corner and armless sections that reconfigure. Each has a single published footprint, not three.

Fire pit clearance
Two sectionals in the range bundle an integrated 60,000 BTU propane fire table, and the same fire table is also sold on its own. All three need clearance from combustible surfaces that is not stated on the listing itself.
Fire pit clearance - the minimum gap the fire table needs from combustible surfaces, walls or overhangs - is published in the manufacturer’s own manual, not on the listing itself, and is not yet collected here. This site does not give installation, gas-connection or operating instructions for the fire tables in the range: follow the manual in the box and your local codes.

Sizing questions
Why does the same set need a different footprint for L, U and a straight line?
Each layout arranges the same modules differently. A straight line puts every module end to end - long and narrow. An L folds part of the run around a corner - shorter and deeper. A U folds it around two corners - more compact still, but needs the same depth on both arms. Buying by piece count alone does not tell you which of these your patio can actually take.
Why isn't a smaller total area treated as the safer choice?
Because shape, not area, decides whether a set physically fits. A straight line layout can have less area than a U and still need a 28-foot wall run a U never would. The area column here is reference only - check the length and depth for the specific layout you want, not the square footage.
What does 'n/a' mean, versus a dash?
A dash means a figure applies to this product but has not been measured yet - a gap still to fill. 'n/a' means the layout does not exist for this product at all - a fixed sofa has no U-shape configuration to measure in the first place, so it is never shown as missing.
Why doesn't the sizing page say how much clearance the fire tables need?
That figure comes from the manufacturer’s own manual, not the listing, and has not been collected here yet. This site does not provide gas-connection or installation instructions for the fire tables in the range either way - follow the manual in the box and your local codes.
Where does the piece count on each listing come from, and can I rely on it for sizing?
It is the manufacturer’s own marketing count, published as-is on each product page. It does not mean the same thing from one listing to the next - checked against the Creators API, one 6-piece listing’s own component count field returns 17 for the same set - so it is shown for reference only and never used to calculate a footprint.
